The groups for the 2023 edition of the Durand Cup have been announced, which will feature six groups of four teams each.
While Group A would feature a Kolkata derby between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal FC, while a southern rivalry would feature in Group C as Bengaluru FC would take on Kerala Blasters.
The six group winners and the two best second played sides would make the knockout quarterfinals.
The tournament would be played from August 3 to September 3 in Kolkata, Guwahati, Kokrajhar with the final to be played at Kolkata’s iconic Saltlake Stadium.
