Former Indian Women’s League champions Sethu FC have announced that the Tilak Maidan in Vasco, Goa will be their home venue for the 2023/24 IWL.
Sethu FC are unable to play in their home city of Madurai and with the new home and away format of the Indian Women’s League, they needed a home venue and have now shifted their home base to Goa.
Sethu FC in a statement said, “Sethu FC is delighted to announce that Goa has graciously welcomed the team for the upcoming Indian Women’s Legaue (IWL) 2023-24 season.”
“Sethu FC extends heartfelt gratitude to the Sports Authority of Goa and the Goa Football Association for enabling the team to call Goa home for the IWL 2023-24 season. Their unwavering support and generosity will allow the team to showcase its prowess at the prestigious Tilak Maidan stadium.”
“The club also expresses sincere thanks to the All India Football Federation for their collaborative efforts, adding immense value to the seamless integration of Sethu FC into the vibrant football landscape of Goa.”
