Timothy Chandler extends Eintracht Frankfurt deal!

Frankfurt-born Chandler has extended his contract by a further year until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Timothy Chandler joined Eintracht Frankfurt as a ten-year-old from Sportfreunde Oberau in the Wetterau district, rising through the youth ranks at the club before signing for 1.FC Nürnberg in 2010. After making 102 appearances in four seasons in Nuremberg, Chandler agreed to return to boyhood club Eintracht in 2014 and went on to help the Eagles win the DFB Cup and the UEFA Europa League. The 34-year-old, who also has US citizenship and has won 29 caps for the Stars and Stripes, has registered ten goals and 17 assists in 194 competitive outings for the Eagles to date.

Timothy Chandler said, “Eintracht Frankfurt is my home, my second family. I can’t wait to wear the eagle on my chest again next season. I’m still fully fit and full of drive. We have ambitious sporting goals and I want to continue being on the pitch and helping the team next season.”

Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche said, “Timmy is a role model and an important player for us. For our young players in particular, he’s a useful person to talk to on the pitch and in the dressing room. He manages to motivate people through his positive energy. We’re happy he’ll continue to play for us for at least another year.”
