Ulsan Hyundai lend support to Social Responsibility efforts!

Ulsan Hyundai FC showed they are champions on and off the pitch after utilising 5% of their AFC Champions League 2020 winner’s prize purse to deliver three Social Responsibility programmes with the support of the AFC Dream Asia Foundation.

The East Asian club, in coordination with the Korea Football Association (KFA) and the Football Love sharing Foundation, mooted the KFA Football Love Project that consist of three initiatives – the Dream KFA Ontact, Dream KFA Harmony and Dream Assist – with the focus of engaging communities in the South Korea.

The Dream KFA Ontact emphasised on providing middle, high school and university students with motivational and mentorship support for those keen to explore sports related job opportunities. The programmes were conducted virtually and benefitted 51 college students and 137 teenagers.

Meanwhile, the Dream KFA Harmony gave hope to 47 children from multicultural families during the Multicultural Family Celebration Day Online, titled ‘A Song of Dream and Hope’ that was attended by South Korea’s national team players and capella group D.I.A.

More programmes were organised in the Dream Assist initiative aimed at establishing a support system for students in vulnerable social groups. Among some of the activities organised include a Mentor Celebrity speech, Relationship Reinforcement and a Football Camp held at the Ulsan Hyundai Club house.

The KFA Football Love Project initiatives were carried out between March to December 2021.
