VfB Stuttgart sign Nick Woltemade from Werder Bremen!

Nick Woltemade will be wearing VfB Stuttgart colours next season after joining the club on a contract until June 30, 2028.

The 22-year-old, 1.98-metre attacker moves from SV Werder Bremen, where he came through the youth ranks and went on to make 41 appearances in the Bundesliga, registering two goals and an assist. Bremen-born Woltemade has also won 28 caps at Germany youth level, including six for the Under-21s.

Nick Woltemade said, “I’ve been really thrilled about VfB from the very first contact I had with them, and I’m very happy to be part of the squad from the summer. I have a special family connection to VfB and am highly motivated to play there myself, having loved watching them train during the holidays as a young boy. I’m really looking forward to the exciting challenge with my new teammates.”

VfB Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth said, “Nick showed his qualities last season and established himself in the Bundesliga. He’s a powerful yet skilful striker whose progress we’ve followed very closely. We’re convinced that Nick will continue his positive development with us and become a valuable part of our attack.”
