VfL Wolfsburg extend keeper Pavao Pervan’s contract!

The Austrian goalkeeper Pavao Pervan is set to remain a VfL Wolfsburg player beyond next season after the 36-year-old goalkeeper extended his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the current campaign, until summer 2025.

Pervan, who has appeared three times in the Bundesliga and once in the DFB Cup this term, has made 39 competitive outings in all competitions since joining the Wolves from Linzer ASK in 2018.

“I’m delighted to continue my time at VfL Wolfsburg,” Pervan said. “I’ve always emphasised that I’ve felt incredibly settled in Wolfsburg with my family from day one. It makes me happy and fills me with gratitude that I can continue to prove myself at a high level in training and in the Bundesliga.”

“We’re delighted to continue working with Pavo,” added VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “The decision to extend his contract was a particularly easy one for us, because we can always rely on him as a person and in a sporting sense. Pavo is an important part of our team and is held in the highest esteem, not just within the squad.”
