VIDEO: Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023 sees highest attendance yet as 115 participants!

The Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023 saw its highest single-day attendance so far as a total of 115 players participated in the fifth week of the tournament at the Archery ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Since its inception, this was the busiest day for the league, owing to an increased number of matches and more teams registering for the tournament after a successful first few weeks for the grassroots program.

Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) was among the new additions to the Golden Baby League last week alongside the other partner schools such as Loyola School and Carmel School.

The second edition of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, hosted by Jamshedpur FC in conjunction with the Jharkhand Football Association (JFA) and Jharkhand Sporting Association (JSA) has been divided into U-5, U-7, U-9, U-11 and U-13 categories for the benefit of kids across the city.

The 10-month-long tournament will be held every Sunday morning at the Archery ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex to nurture development and add to the existing grassroots school program run by the club during the week after school hours.

Week five saw the highest numbers in the U-13 category, with 36 students taking part in two separate matches in this age category taking place.

An early kickoff to proceedings on a warm Sunday morning was met with more excitement than ever by kids as well as their parents, who came in large numbers to support the little ones.

Cadets from the Jamshedpur FC Youth Team (TFA) were on hand to help with officiating while physiotherapists from the first team helped with any injury concerns to the players.

Week five saw two matches each in the U5, U9, U11 and U13 categories, with just one match in the U7 category.

The following are the results from week five of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League:
