The Football School of India is set to begin operations in Goa with a regular ‘FSI coaching centre’ at Porvorim. Founded by former India internationals Abhishek Yadav, Shanmugam Venkatesh and Deepak Mondal in 2012, FSI has training centres across India, with its headquarters in Navi Mumbai. FSI is now looking to set up base in Porvorim, and then move to Panaji and Mapusa.
