The Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel on Tuesday has assured the football fans of the country about hosting a successful 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The marquee event will be staged from October 6 to 28. The matches will be played over six different cities spread all across the country – New Delhi, Goa, Kolkata, Navi-Mumbai, Kochi and Guwahati.
Minister Vijay Goel told XtraTime that May 30 had been set as the deadline for the work on all venue ahead of the tournament.
