Wolfsberger AC relieve head coach Robin Dutt of his duties!

Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC have announced the separation from head coach Robin Dutt after their 1-2 defeat to TSV Hartberg.

On Saturday evening, after the game against TSV Hartberg, there was a conversation between Wolfsberger AC president Dietmar Riegler and head coach Robin Dutt, during which it was decided to release Robin Dutt from his duties as head coach of Wolfsberger AC.

Wolfsberger AC thanked Robin Dutt for his tireless efforts in Wolfsberg. In his 65-game tenure, there were 29 wins, 8 draws and 28 defeats. In his first season, Robin Dutt managed to re-enter the championship group with the WAC and subsequently qualified for the starting place in the fourth qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League via third place in the final table. Furthermore, Robin Dutt was able to lead the team in the 2021/22 season to the semifinals of the ÖFB Austrian Cup, where they only had to face defeat on penalties against FC Red Bull Salzburg.

on Sunday morning, Robin Dutt said goodbye to the team. Co-coach Oliver Barth is also leaving the Wolfsberger AC coaching team.

Robin Dutt said, “The Wolfsberger AC has grown very close to my heart in the past 2 years. The relationship of trust with Dietmar Riegler, my coaching team and the staff was something very special. I wish the team, of which I remain fully convinced, all the best.”
