As XtraTime reports, Kolkata giants Mohammedan Sporting Club are current playing both the Calcutta Football League and Durand Cup.
Mohammedan Sporting have reached the finals of the Durand Cup after a gap of eight years only yesterday with the final scheduled for Sunday, October 3; but the IFA has scheduled their next Calcutta Football League – Premier Division A qualifier on Thursday, September 30 against Tollygunge Agragami. And due to the fixture pileup, the Black Panthers are considering not playing their next CFL encounter to stay fresh for the Durand Cup final.
The club will request the IFA to postpone this next CFL fixture.
