Aizawl FC sign four players to strengthen squad ahead of I-League start!

I-League side Aizawl FC after signing head coach Khalid Jamil for the 2016/17 campaign have also been signing players to strengthen their squad in defenders Zohmingliana Ralte and Eze Kingsley Obumneme besides the wingers R. Laldanmawia and H. Lalmuankima (Mk-a).

Experienced 27 year old Zohmingliana Ralte returns to Mizoram after more than a decade elsewhere playing in India. At youth level he played for the SAIL-Mohun Bagan Football Academy, Rangdajied United FC and Shillong Lajong FC, where he would make his professional debut.

In 2012 he moved to Pune FC and stayed with them for three years, inbetween playing for NorthEast United FC in the ISL-2. Last season he was with DSK Shivajians FC and now returns to his home state to play for Aizawl FC.

Winger R. Laldanmawia has signed for Aizawl FC from Mizoram Premier League rivals Chanmari West FC. He played for Dinthar FC and Chanmari FC in previous MPL seasons.

Nigerian defender Eze Kingsley Obumneme joins Aizawl FC as a journeyman, who has played for HAL – Bangalore, Kalighat Milan Sansha, Police AC, United SC and Peerless SC. He can also play in the defensive midfield.

Meanwhile Aizawl FC have signed winger H. Lalmuankima (Mk-a), who returns to the club.
