New Radiant SC sign Oscar Bruzon as their new head coach!

Maldivian Dhivehi League side New Radiant SC have signed former Sporting Clube de Goa and Mumbai FC head coach Óscar Bruzón Barreras of Spain for the remainder of the local league replacing Portuguese coach Bernardo Tavares with four matches to play.

The Spaniard came to India to work for the SPT Academy and then moved to the I-League to join Sporting Clube de Goa and helped the Goan club to a sixth and fifth place finish in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 I-League seasons respectively, and in the Federation Cup where Sporting Goa reached the final in 2013/14.

His most recent job was in March/April at Indian I-League side Mumbai FC, whom he tried to keep in the I-League but in the end Mumbai FC were relegated. Before that he was assistant manager to Fernando Vazquez at RCD Mallorca in Spain’s Segunda (Second) Division and also at Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.
