NorthEast United FC sign Croatia duo Mato Grgic & Mislav Komorski!

Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of Croatian defensive duo of Mato Grgic and Mislav Komorski for the 2018/19 season.

Both Mato Grgic and Mislav Komorski come to India’s Northeast from Croatian side Inter Zapresic.

30 year old Kotor Varos-born Mato Grgic started his youth football with NK Kutjevo before moving on to play for Hrvatski Dragovoljac, where he also made his senior debut in 2006. He spend five seasons with them at senior level with a loan spell at NK Rudes.

He then went on to play for Slaven Belupo before joining Hungarian side MTK Budapest before returning to play for Inter Zapresic in Croatia.

26 year old Zagreb-born Mislav Komorski started his youth career with Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb, where he signed his first professional contract but he would make his senior debut for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb. He then played for Hrvatski Dragovoljac before moving to Inter Zapresic.

Now both defenders leave Croatia to come to India.
