1.FC Heidenheim 1846 can announce another new signing for the upcoming 2024/25 season. Sirlord Conteh will wear the jersey of FCH from next summer. The 27-year-old will move from SC Paderborn to Brenz at the end of the current season. The attacker has signed a contract with FCH until June 30, 2027. Both clubs agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.
“Sirlord Conteh is a very interesting player who impresses with his exceptional speed. We are convinced that he will be an enrichment for us with his style of play,” explains Robert Strauss, FCH Head of Sport, adding: “We are delighted that he will be part of the FCH family from the summer and at the same time would like to thank SC Paderborn 07 for the partnership.”
In his youth, Sirlord Calvin Conteh played for various clubs in his hometown of Hamburg: Between 2011 and 2013, the attacking player played in the youth team and the U17s of SC Concordia Hamburg, before wearing the jersey of the Hamburg sports club Vorwärts-Wacker Billstedt from the summer of 2013. After six months, the then 17-year-old moved to VfB Lübeck’s U-19s before joining the TSV Sasel squad in July 2014. From the summer of 2015 to the summer of 2019, Conteh played in the second team of FC St. Pauli and then moved to the first team. After two years at second-division club SC Paderborn, the attacker will now join FCH in the summer. In his career so far, Sirlord Conteh has made 62 appearances in the 3rd division (3.Liga) and 64 appearances in the 2nd division. Conteh has made eight appearances in the German DFB Cup so far.
“I’m looking forward to my move to Heidenheim with full anticipation. In the last second division season, I was able to compete with FCH and from an opponent’s point of view I know the feeling of playing on the Schlossberg in the Voith Arena. I’m looking forward to the new challenge and will contribute to the team with the experience I’ve gained so far,” said Sirlord Conteh after signing the contract.
