2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup Trophy Experience’s India Tour to conclude in Kochi this weekend!

The FIFA U-17 World Cup Winner’s Trophy will be in Kochi this weekend as part of the ongoing Trophy Experience. The Trophy Experience has covered over 8,000 kilometres since it kicked-off in New Delhi last month.

Kerala Minister for Industries, Sports & Youth Affairs, A.C. Moideen will unveil the Winner’s Trophy at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium at 11am on September 22.

On Saturday, September 23, the Winner’s Trophy will be placed at Ambedkar Stadium at a Mission XI Million festival between 9:30am and 1pm.

Concluding the Trophy Experience in India, Fort Kochi will host the Trophy on Sunday, September 24 between 3pm and 8pm.

The first of a kind Trophy Experience has given football fans, children, residents and tourists in New Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Navi Mumbai and Goa a truly unique experience to see the FIFA U-17 World Cup Winner’s Trophy up close, and will conclude its journey in Kochi.

Kochi will kick-off the first 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup with a match on October 7, with the enticing tie between Brazil and Spain scheduled at 5pm. Tickets for all the matches can be bought on www.fifa.com/india2017/ticketing .
