After the success end to the Keventer Cup, Kolkata’s premier school football Tournament, plus the training and friendly matches of the 20 boys strong “Keventer Cup All Stars”, East Bengal Clubs’ Youth Development head Ranjan Choudhury has selected five out of the 20 boys from the Allstars for training and trials with the East Bengal Academy.
If anyone of the boys is able to convince the East Bengal Academy coaches, then they could be selected to represent East Bengal Club at youth level as part of their Academy.
The five selected boys are Joybrata Choudhury (St. Mary’s, Dum Dum), Subhojit Chanda (Army Public School), Pushkar Dey (Patha Bhavan), Abdul Ejaz (Albany Hall), and Syed Yasa (St. Thomas’, Khidderpore).
The Keventer Cup is organised by the Debanjan Sen Foundation and after the end of the school football tournament, the best talent are selected for a special camp and friendly matches under the name of Keventer Cup All Stars.
