5th AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme 2024 kicks off!

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) welcomed the fifth batch of participants for its latest edition of the Knowledge Sharing Programme 2024 on Tuesday.

Taking place from June 4 to 14, the programme will see one independent candidate along with a participant representing the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) being assigned to the Confederation’s MA Division and Technical Division, where they will receive hands-on training and guidance from some of the best minds in the industry.

During this time, the initiative will enable the participants to gain valuable insights into the best practices of football governance and day-to-day operations of the Confederation as they embark on a journey to become the future leaders of Asian football.

Upon the completion of the programme, the candidates are expected to impart their learnings to their respective organisations to facilitate the implementation of necessary policies to elevate governance standards across Asia.

Tailored to maximise the potential of its MAs and RAs, the capacity-building initiative is yet another instance of the AFC’s steadfast commitment towards making football the number one sport on the Continent and cementing itself as a leading Confederation.

The Knowledge Sharing Programme is open to all employees of the AFC’s MAs and RAs. Moreover, candidates from the AFC Academic Centre of Excellence who have graduated with “distinction” will also have the opportunity to be part of the programme.
