Ahead of the club’s AFC Cup debut and the upcoming ISL season, Odisha FC has chosen Thailand as the destination for their pre-season tour.
Head Coach Sergio Lobera has demarcated the squad’s trip to Thailand for pre-season.
“I am very happy and want to thank the efforts of the management for providing us with the best resources/ tools to start the pre-season strong and to arrange this trip to Thailand for three weeks. It will be helpful for me as a coach that I will be able to spend time with the players and the staff all day every day.”
“Considering this is a new project with new players it will be of paramount importance that the squad settles in and get to know each other very well. Initially, we planned individual meetings with the players and strategic meetings with the staff to chalk out the course of our entire pre-season training camp.”
“The pre-season period in Thailand will be very important as we will try to implement our philosophy and style of play. We will be playing competitive friendly games against some of the top Thai clubs. I am very excited to start things off and meet the squad once we arrive in Thailand.”
The squad will be jetting off to Thailand on August 1.
