Sreenidi Deccan FC suffered a second successive 1-2 defeat in the Kalinga Super Cup at the Kalinga Stadium on Sunday evening, this time to East Bengal FC who rode on first half goals from Hijazi Maher and Javier Siverio to take all three points. The Deccan Warriors pulled one back through a late penalty kick from William Alves but it was too little too late as they were eliminated from the Kalinga Super Cup with a game to spare.
