Former I-League champions Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the return of experienced defender Mashoor Shereef.
31 year old Malappuram-born Mashoor Shereef Thangalakath played locally in his home state of Kerala.
Mashoor Shereef made his professional debut for Chennai City FC in 2017 and spend three seasons with the I-League club with a loan spell at Gokulam Kerala FC.
Mashoor Shereef then joined NorthEast United FC in 2020 and established himself within the Highlanders squad, even making it to the Indian national team.
At the start of the ongoing 2023/24 season, Mashoor Shereef moved to Punjab FC ahead of their debut in the ISL, but he was released recently.
Now Mashoor Shereef returns to Gokulam Kerala FC for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
