28 year old Veniamin Shumeiko has played for FC Alga Bishkek and FC Abdysh-Ata Kant in his native Kyrgyzstan.
Veniamin Shumeiko makes his first international transfer to India and joins Chennai City FC as their fifth foreigner alongside fellow Kyrgyz international striker Ildar Amirov, French striker Jean-Michel Junior Joachim, midfielder Baafi Jackson of Ghana and Nigerian forward Michael Lucky Kelechukwu.
