The Association Of Indian Football Coaches (AIFC) for the first time organised an AFC A Coaching License Diploma First module (broken down into three modules) conducted by the AIFF in Mumbai.
The Instructors for the course were Savio Medeira, Richard Hood and Mariano Dias. It was a nine-day course that saw former India internationals Jo Paul Anchery, Gouramangi Singh, Shanmugam Venkatesh among other 21 participants.
