East Bengal beat ASEB 3-0 in last group game ahead of Bordoloi Trophy semifinals!

Kingfisher East BengalKolkata giants East Bengal Club defeated local side Assam State Electricity Board 3-0 in their final Group B match in the 64th Bordoloi Trophy at the Nehru Stadium in Guwahati.

In the semifinals East Bengal will clash with Shillong Lajong FC.

East Bengal dominated today’s match from the word go and went ahead in the 6th minute when Do Dong Hyun scored of a pass from Jiten Murmu. Prohlad Roy doubled the lead in the 12th minute of a Dong assist. Goalkeeper Luis Barreto was replaced by Dibyendu Sarkar following an eye injury before Yami Longvah completed the scoring from a pile driver in the 68th minute.

With this win East Bengal qualified for the semifinals with an all win record after three matches.
