Churchill Brothers on Thursday, March 24 defeated Aizawl FC 2-1 at the Kalyani Stadium to register their second victory in the I-League.
With this, they have moved up into eighth spot in the standings while Aizawl FC have slipped down into the 10th position. Kenneth Ikechukwu and Komron Tursunov scored one goal each for Churchill Brothers while Samuel Lalmuanpuia netted the consolation goal for Aizawl FC.
