As a specialist sports brand and technical sponsor of the Villarreal FC, Joma presents a special shirt for the 100th anniversary of the club. Founded in 1923, Villarreal FC will celebrate its centenary by wearing this exclusive shirt. It is inspired by the shirt worn by the team when they were first promoted to the Primera Division.
Of course, the elastic maintains the yellow as a sign of the club, accompanied by details in sky blue that contrast with the base. Known as the “Yellow Submarine”, Villareal FC has yellow in its blood, and no other colour could be used on this commemorative kit. As mentioned above, a blue strip is included in the shoulder area as well as in the ribbing on the neck and the cuffs.
At the top of the back, there is a print of a submarine with the symbol of the shield and the inscription of the 100-year anniversary (1923-2023).In the same shade, inside the neck, there is another print with the evolution of the different Villareal FC emblems. Likewise, and also in royal blue, the shirt is completed with the embroidered Joma logo and those of the other sponsors.
The Villareal FC shield appears on the front of the shirt, to add an extra touch of elegance. The style is classic with a polo neck, regular fit and raglan sleeves to provide greater freedom of movement.
Technical features
Joma products are known for their quality and the technological features, and these have been applied to the Villareal FC centenary shirt. The elastic is made from a mix of polyester and cotton, a combination characterised by its softness and elasticity, as well as for being extremely robust and easy to care for. In fact, the cotton fibres contribute to moisture wicking in a way that makes the shirt highly breathable.
Freedom of movement is guaranteed by the raglan-style sleeves. By removing seams in the shoulder area, all movements are made more comfortably and dynamically.
The FLATLOCK system of flat seams also contributes to this, preventing chafing and uncomfortable irritation on the footballers’ skin.
