Adnan Januzaj joins Sevilla FC on a four year deal!

Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with Adnan Januzaj, which will see the winger sign for the club on a four-year deal.

The 27-year old joins on a free after his contract at Real Sociedad expired in the summer, bringing his five-season spell at San Sebastián to a close.

The Belgian can play on both flanks, but normally features on the right wing, as to cut in on his stronger left foot.

Born in Brussels, Januzaj began his career in the Academy at home town club RSC Anderlecht, but was quickly snapped up by Manchester United in 2011, when he was just 16 years old.

His official debut came in the 2013 Community Shield win against Wigan Athletic, before bursting onto the scene just under two months later with a brace away at AFC Sunderland on his first Premier League start to secure a comeback 2-1 win.

He would finish that season with four goals in 35 matches in all competitions, including two matches in the UEFA Champions League. He went on to make a further 28 appearances for the Mancunians across two seasons, adding one more goal.

In the first half of the 2015/16 season, he joined Borussia Dortmund on a season long-loan. However, he was recalled to Manchester midway through the season after twelve outings for the German side.

The following season, he was loaned to AFC Sunderland, where he was reunited with David Moyes, the manager who gave him his official debut for Manchester United. He scored one goal and set up a further three in 27 appearances for The Black Cats, who were relegated at the end of the campaign.
