AFC ‘C’ Licence Coaching Course concludes in Mizoram!

An Asian Football Confederation ‘C’ Licence Coaching Course started on October 14 was concluded yesterday at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl, Mizoram.

Course Instructor Thomas Joseph conducted the course which saw 22 candidates from Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam and Delhi. The results of the course will be announced by the AFC and AIFF in the future.

This is the second time Mizoram has hosted an AFC ‘C’ Licence Coaching Course. Candidates for the course were given in depth theory and practical classes from 6:30am in the morning to 5:30pm in the evening.

Mizoram FA Honorary Secretary Lalnghinglova Hmar thanked the AIFF for letting Mizoram host the coaching course at the closing function.

He also added, “We have managed to coach up several national team players with only one AFC A License coach till now, and when we have as many qualified coaches as our neighbouring states, we will be able to produce an even greater number of talent.”

Course Instructor Thomas Joseph praised the efforts of the MFA in hosting the course while adding that he has high hopes of successful candidates in the course.
