The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has confirmed that the AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 Semi-final first leg match between Al Ain FC of the United Arab Emirates and Al Hilal SFC of Saudi Arabia has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
The match was scheduled to be played today at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain at 8pm local time. However, following an advisory from the UAE authorities, the UAE Football Association has suspended all football activities for Tuesday, keeping in view the safety of all fans, players and stakeholders.
The match has now been rescheduled for tomorrow (April 17, 2024) and will be played at the same venue and at the same time.
