AFC Future Panel Forum convenes to share new ideas and best practices!

The Future Panel Forum gathered virtually for the first time to discuss new and various approaches to further strengthen the development of football in Asia.

The forum was led by Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Technical Director Andy Roxburgh and joined by renowned panelists consisting of Asian national team head coaches as well as technical personnel from the AFC’s Member Associations (MAs).

The group of elite specialists gathered with the aim of evaluating new ideas and improvements that can benefit the AFC’s MAs while also sharing best technical practices within their own MAs.

During the forum, the panelists elaborated on ways to further develop and improve the sport in Asia while increasing interest at all levels.

Additionally, the panelists also talked in detail on the technical aspects of the recently concluded 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan that was won by Saudi Arabia.

The panel also focused on the advantages of utilising tactical cameras in competitions and trainings while other topics were also presented for future discussions and reference.

With football around the globe developing rapidly, the intention of the Future Football Forum is to find new ways to develop technical advancements by sharing the latest information, new ideas and research, with the ultimate goal of raising the overall standards of Asian football.
