AFC Match Officials confirmed for 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup – UAE!

Four of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s match officials have been selected to officiate at the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup – UAE, set to take place in Dubai from February 15 to 24, 2024.

The 2024 edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will see Kuwait’s Abdulaziz Abdullah making his debut at the competition, where he will be accompanied by fellow debutant Ibrahim Yousif Abdulla Ahmed Alraeesi (main image) who hails from the host nation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Joining the duo will be two familiar faces, namely Yuichi Hatano from Japan and Oman’s Turki Abdullah Said Al Salehi.

Hatano, who was first appointed to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in 2017 is set to take charge for the third time in the contest, having blown the whistle in the 2021 edition of the tournament as well.

Also set to make back-to-back appearances at the much-anticipated contest is Oman’s Al Salehi. The veteran official, who also oversaw matches at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Portugal 2015, was appointed as the reserve assistant referee in the Final between Japan and Russian Football Union at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Russia 2021.

The quartet, each representing a different Member Association of the AFC, is an excellent instance of the Confederation’s unwavering commitment to upholding world-class standards of refereeing in Asia.
