AIFF benefits from latest AFC Communications Mentorship programme!

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) was the latest Member Association to benefit from the AFC Communications Mentorship Programme following a successful two-day workshop.

Led by AFC consultant John Kent, who has 35 years of experience in Communications, and Aditi Tyagi, currently working for Zee Media as a news anchor, the workshop focused on the overview of communications and crisis communications.

AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das, who attended the workshop, believed the informative workshop will boost their communications capabilities while also preparing the Federation in crisis communications.

Kushal Das said, “Football is the fastest growing sport in India and this workshop will help AIFF to further improve our communications strategy. We are always looking at ways on how to engage with our various stakeholders and the workshop was a good opportunity for our team to share and discuss new ideas.”

“It is also important that the Federation is prepared on how to handle crisis communications, when a situation arise. It was a very engaging workshop and I strongly believe that the AIFF staff will find the information to be very useful and beneficial.”
