Bengaluru FC became the first Indian Team to reach the final of the AFC Cup when they beat defending champions Johor Darul Ta’zim FC 4-2 on aggregate in the home and away semifinal last month.
The support pouring in for Bengaluru FC, meanwhile has been exemplary. The NRIs in Doha, despite their allegiances to various other Clubs in domestic Indian Football have also joined hands for the support of the first-ever Indian football Club to play in an AFC Cup final.
