Former I-League champions Aizawl FC today announced the signing of Argentinian attacking midfielder Matias Veron for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
The 26-year-old Matias Veron is an attacking midfielder who played for Juventud Unida RC, an Argentinian club side in the past season and Matias Veron had been on trials with I-League rivals Gokulam Kerala FC, but they did not go ahead of signing him.
Matias Veron has successfully passed his medical tests at Aizawl FC and will be available when the Reds visit the newcomers TRAU FC this Saturday.
Matias Veron has been signed by the Mizoram giants as a replacement for Ghanian midfielder William Opoku Asiedu, who is unable to join the club for unnamed reasons in the January transfer window.
