Mohun Bagan SG have announced the appointment of their former ISL winning head coach Antonio Lopez Habas as their new technical director.
Antonio Lopez Habas returns to the entity which won the ISL titles in 2014 and 2019/20 under his coaching.
Mohun Bagan SG in a statement said, “Along with making a powerful first-team side, Mohun Bagan Super Giant wants to stress on youth development with the aim of producing first-team players from the various age-group sides. Habas will be in charge of technical instructions for all the sides. The development side is currently training for the Calcutta League.”
Antonio Lopez Habas said, “I am honoured to be considered by Dr. Sanjiv Goenka for Mohun Bagan.”
“I had my best time as a Coach in Kolkta, a city which has given me so much warmth.”
“Now as a Technical Director of Mohun Bagan Super Giant. I am looking forward to working closely with the Management and Technical Staff to improvise Club’s football strategy and overall development programmes.”
