Architecture of Aami Park on new Melbourne Victory shirts by Macron!

A tribute to the design of their stadium, the AAMI Park. This is the main theme distinguishing the graphics of the new Melbourne Victory Home shirt that the club will wear in the 2023-24 season of the A-League. Together with the club’s colours and logo design, the new home kit expresses the identity and sense of belonging to the places and symbols of the club’s homeland and conveys a message of sustainability and respect for the environment. The new kits are made by Macron in Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic, implying the use of the equivalent of around 13 half-litre plastic bottles for every shirt produced.

The new Melbourne Victory ‘Home’ shirt is blue with a white knitted polo neck. Featuring dye-sub white chevron graphics in the centre of the chest which replicates the club logo. The Macron Hero is silicone printed just a little above, still in the centre, while the Melbourne Victory logo is on the left, on the heart, and the A-League logo is on the right. The inside label is customised with the club’s colours and logo and the drawing of a branch of heather, along with the Macron logo and the words Designed in Bologna, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at Macron’s Bologna HQ. The shirt hem is trimmed on the inside with a customised inscription: OUR FOOTBALL LEAD UNITE CONNECT INSPIRE. The entire back of the shirt features embossed graphics comprising different-sized triangles which recall the specific and modern architecture of AAMI Park, ‘home’ to Melbourne Victory. The blue shorts replicate the triangle graphics of the shirt on the sides. The socks are blue too.

The shirts are Slim Fit garments made mainly from Eco Softlock fabric with Eco-Mesh inserts, making them extremely lightweight with outstanding breathability.
