As part of Arsenal FC’s pre-season preparations for the 2023/24 season, Arsenal FC men’s first-team will play against Manchester United in New York this summer.
Arsenal FC will be lining up against the Red Devils in a high-profile pre-season match at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, July 22, marking the first time the two clubs have played each other on American soil.
The match will be another important moment in Arsenal FC’s build-up to next season, and will be the second match during their pre-season trip to the United States. Before travelling to New York, the squad will be in Washington DC, where Arsenal FC will play against the MLS All-Stars team at Audi Field on Wednesday, July 19 in a match which has already sold out.
Sporting Director Edu said, “The plans for pre-season are making good progress, with the match against Manchester United in New York being another important part of our preparations. Playing against strong opposition in a great stadium in front of so many of our supporters in New York will provide Mikel and the squad with a strong test and great experience ahead of the new season.”
“We’ve now announced two matches in the US in July and look forward to announcing further details of our pre-season soon.”
