ATK Mohun Bagan extend contracts of Liston Colaco, Manvir Singh & Deepak Tangri!

Former Indian Super League champions ATK Mohun Bagan have extended the contracts of their trio of Liston Colaco, Manvir Singh and Deepak Tangri.

While Liston Colaco and Manvir Singh have extended their contracts until 2027, while Deepak Tangri will stay with the Mariners until 2026.

23 year old Liston Colaco, who was born in Davorlim in Goa, in his youth played for Salgaocar FC and FC Goa before moving to Hyderabad FC in 2020, where he made his breakthrough and reach the Indian national team.

In 2021, Liston Colaco moved ATK Mohun Bagan and he impressed in his first ISL for them.

26 year old Manvir Singh, the son of former India international Kuldeep Singh, is a youth product of the Minerva Punjab FC. In the 2016/17 season, Manvir joined Mohammedan Sporting Club, making a name for himself at the Black Panthers in the Calcutta Football League and the Second Division League.

He then was called up to the Bengal Santosh Trophy squad and scored a 119th minute winner for the record champions against the hosts Goa to become a hero in the Mecca of Indian football, Kolkata.

And from there FC Goa signed the then young striker to bring him to Goa. Manvir made 47 appearances for FC Goa over three seasons, but mainly from the bench scoring three goals.

In 2020, Manvir Singh joined ATK Mohun Bagan and he has been a regular for the Mariners.

23-year-old Chandigarh-born Deepak Tangri played for the Chandigarh Football Academy before joining the Mohun Bagan Academy, where he moved to a higher level.

Deepak Tangri then moved to the Indian Arrows, also playing for the India Under-20s, to get a feel of the I-League.

Chennaiyin FC signed Deepak Tangri alongside other India youngsters ahead of the 2018-19 season but he went back to the Indian Arrows on loan for more experience.

After an impressive season, Deepak Tangri returned to Chennaiyin FC but didn’t get much match time in his first ISL season, which changed in ISL-7, where Deepak Tangri was a regular and last season returned to Kolkata to play for the Mariners once more.
