Former Indian Super League champions ATK Mohun Bagan have announced the signing of Australian defender Brendan Hamill for the 2022/23 season.
29 year old Sydney-born Brendan Michael Hamill played locally for Marconi Stallions, Parramatta Eagles, Sydney Wanderers, and NSWIS before joining the AIS (FFA Centre of Excellence).
Brendan Hamill made his senior debut for Melbourne Heart. He then went on to play for South Korean side Seongnam FC and a loan spell at Gangwon.
Brendan Hamill then returned to Australia to play for Western Sydney Wanderers, Western United and Melbourne Victory. Now he moves to India to join the Mariners.
ATK Mohun Bagan head coach Juan Ferrando said, “Hamill is a player who helps in the build up of the game and who, using his experience, helps the team in difficult defensive moments. He will be an asset to the team.”
