Indian Super League side ATK Mohun Bagan have announced that teenage Lalrinliana Hnamte has signed a pre-contract with the Mariners.
Lalrinliana Hnamte joins ATK Mohun Bagan from archrivals SC East Bengal.
Lalrinliana Hnamte, who was born in Dungtlang in Mizoram, is 18 years old and came through the local Mizoram football system before joining the FC Pune City Academy. He returned to play for Chanmari FC in the Mizoram Premier League.
He went on to play for the Hyderabad FC Reserves before signing for SC East Bengal ahead of ISL-8. As one of the bright exceptions, Lalrinliana Hnamte showed his bright talent for the red and gold, for whom he played 17 times in the ISL.
Now he moves across to ATK Mohun Bagan, where he will hope that head coach Juan Ferrando will give him match time to improve and develop amongst the star-studded line-up.
