Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich and German Cup (DFB-Pokal) winners Borussia Dortmund will kick-off the 2017/18 season when the two German powerhouses meet in the German Supercup 2017. The match will be played at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK in Dortmund on Saturday, August 5.
The Supercup will kick-off at 20.30h CET and it will be broadcast live by Eurosport and ZDF.
The Supercup traditionally sees the German Bundesliga champions face off against the winners of the DFB Cup or the Bundesliga runners-up if the league champions win both competitions. The Cup winners or the Bundesliga runners-up have the right to host the tie.
