Bayern Munich promoting talent in Argentina!

FC Bayern Munich is entering into a multi-year partnership with the government of the province of Misiones in Argentina to promote football talent together. Football camps, training programmes for local coaches and other opportunities for girls and boys have been agreed upon for the partnership. The prestigious FC Bayern Youth Cup will also take place in Argentina for the first time with partner Allianz.

FC Bayern board member for marketing Andreas Jung said, “We’re very happy about this project in Argentina – a country with enormous football tradition and enthusiasm. We want to support girls and boys, and expect a lot from the long-term exchange with our partner, the government of Misiones.”

“Football is a powerful social tool,” said FC Bayern President of the Americas Rudolf Vidal. “We will work closely with the Misiones government to share FC Bayern’s football methodology and philosophy with young players and coaches. Our aim is to teach important life skills and values such as teamwork, motivation, self-confidence and respect through the beautiful game.”

“FC Bayern Munich is one of the biggest clubs in the world with one of the most successful academies,” said the Misiones governor Dr Oscar Alberto Herrera Ahuad. “We were looking for the perfect partner to develop meaningful programmes for our province’s boys and girls, both on and off the field. We believe the German champions are perfectly suited to support our goals.”
