beIN SPORTS to broadcast AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar!

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has confirmed beIN SPORTS, the flagship sports channel of beIN MEDIA GROUP (‘beIN’), as the broadcast partner for the remaining AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar fixtures scheduled to take place on March 24 and 29, 2022.

beIN SPORTS has secured the rights to broadcast the eagerly anticipated contests in Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.

To showcase the new AFC rights, beIN SPORTS will launch four new dedicated AFC channels – namely beIN SPORTS AFC, beIN SPORTS 1 AFC, beIN SPORTS 2 AFC and beIN SPORTS 3 AFC – which will be presented utilising 4K state-of-the-art technology, complemented by world-class studio punditry to provide the most comprehensive coverage and premium viewing experience, while commentary will be available in Arabic, English and French.

The AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar will reach its climax in the coming days as the Continent’s top teams set their sights on the concluding Matchdays nine and 10 encounters.

In Group A, Iran and South Korea have already guaranteed their progression and will now battle it out for top spot. Below them, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Iraq remain in the mix for third place and the playoff ticket.

Meanwhile in Group B, three teams will battle for two automatic qualification places at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with Saudi Arabia leading the way but Japan are hot on their heels while Australia – who still have to play the top two – remain firmly in the running as the group gears towards a thrilling finale.

The AFC rights will be available across beIN’s range of subscription packages comprising: Ultimate, Premium, Kickoff, Legacy Elite, Legacy Premium and Legacy Sports. Subscribers can also stream the AFC matches on beIN CONNECT and TOD.
