Bengaluru FC, on Tuesday, announced that ARC – Athlete Recovery has entered into a two-year partnership with the club as its ‘Official Recovery Partner’. Founded by Former Karnataka Ranji and International cricketer David Mathias in 2023.
The brand has a prestigious list of believers, including KL Rahul who was an early adopter of the ARC – Athlete Recovery vision, National Cricket Academy, Bangladesh Cricket Board as well as teams from the Karnataka Premier League, Tamil Nadu Premier League and Caribbean Premier League.
“At ARC – Athlete Recovery we try to honour the athlete in all of us. By empowering the athlete to recover better they can push their limits further, each time. Bengaluru FC are pioneers in adopting this recovery culture amongst their players and we find tremendous synergy with that,” said Mathias.
ARC – Athlete Recovery focuses on addressing the rigorous demands of athletes in today’s day and age. For Bengaluru FC, roping in ARC – Athlete Recovery would mean that our players get access to state-of-the-art recovery equipment post-match.
The brand’s mission to ‘revitalise, recover, and conquer’ aligns closely with the ethos and objectives of Bengaluru FC. ARC – Athlete Recovery’s products include The COLD RUSH™, a portable ice bath that focuses on athlete recovery. This portable ice bath is carefully crafted to serve athletes’ recovery needs after high-intensity exertions, and will be in use at the Blues’ training facility and at the Sree Kanteerava stadium on matchdays.
“We are delighted to have ARC on board. They have made a powerful tool like cold therapy accessible, convenient and portable and their technology is top-of-the-line and will go a long way in helping our players maintain their fitness levels throughout what we are sure will be a long and extremely competitive ISL season,” said Bengaluru FC Director of Football, Darren Caldeira.
The Blues, who began their Indian Super League journey earlier last month, are next in action against East Bengal FC at the Kanteerava Stadium on October 4.
