18 year old Ishan, who plays as a striker, has been given the No. 50 jersey of CD Leganes, a club based in the outskirts of Madrid, but he will mainly feature with the clubs Under-19 team in the Division de Honor Juvenil and if successful there, he would move on to be a part of the clubs La Liga squad.

Ishan grew up in the Philippines before moving to Bengaluru in 2009. In 2014 he moved to Spain to pursue his footballing career with the youth academy of UD Almeria.

Towards the end of his Almeria stint, Ishan started to trial with some La Liga clubs to get a professional contract. A deal with CF Getafe fell through earlier this year with the club being relegated from La Liga and Ishan’s aim being to sign and play for a La Liga side.
