British kit maker and German Bundesliga side SV Werder Bremen have announced that another new club who will be wearing the double diamond in the near future from the start of the 2018/19 season.
The Bundesliga club have announced the news a few days ago joining the likes of 1.FC Nürnberg, PSV Eindhoven and FC Nantes in UMBRO’s European elite club portfolio.
The kitting deal will start in 2018 and run until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Speaking about the news, SV Werder Bremen chairman Klaus-Dieter Fischer said, “With Umbro we will be kitted out from 2018/19 onwards by a brand that, like SV Werder, can look back on a long footballing history.”
“With this supplier switch we want to continue on our chosen path and further boost the Werder brand positively and emotionally on a domestic and international scale,” he added.
