Caden Clark joins RB Leipzig’s first-team set up!

Caden Clark will be part of RB Leipzig’s first-team set up, effective immediately. The 19-year-old arrived in Leipzig on Friday, February 3 and will begin training in the coming days. He will wear the number 28 shirt for the club.

RB Leipzig signed the talented youngster from New York Red Bulls on January 1, 2022, on a contract running until summer 2025. Clark remained on loan with the New York-based MLS side last season.

Clark featured in 49 MLS matches for the club (8 goals, 4 assists) and is currently part of the United States’ U-20 side (12 games, 2 goals).

The youngster plays in attacking midfield and can also feature on the wings. He played for the Minnesota Thunder and Barcelona academies before joining NYRB in February 2020. He initially featured for the club’s reserves, before breaking into the first team in October 2020. Clark netted the winning goal against Atlanta United on his debut on October 11.
