On Super Tuesday at the Chandigarh Youth League – Season 2 organised by Minerva Punjab FC where over 200 youngsters from across the TriCity area are putting their best to get their hands on the glittering Trophy. the Month long tournament has now entered its 6th day and the participants are leaving no stone unturned to get the best of every match they play at the 10 acre lush green Minerva Academy’s Football Grounds.
In the morning fixtures, Vivek High Soccer Academy got the better of Pythons FC with a thumping scoreline of 3-0 that saw Jappar score the opener Agam netting twice to make it 3-0. In the other encounter Tiger FC defeated 7 Star with a scoreline of 2-1 that found Tiger FC letting in an own goal followed by Ashu’s strike that cancelled Abhijeet’s lone goal for 7 Star’s. Daoba FC scrumbled with a 4-0 scoreline against St. Soldier’s FC that saw Rohan net a hattrick followed by Harsh’s lone strike later in the game.
Later during the Day, Sucha Soorma went down fighting to Strikers FC with a scoreline of 1-2 that saw Vikas score for Sucha Soorma and Karan along with Rishiraj score each for Strikers FC. Rishiraj was awarded man of the match for his amazing performance. In the other encounter Warriors FC were held by VHS FC with a scoreline of1-1 that saw Hardik and Aditya score for each team. Sirsa FC however did’nt have the best outing as they faced another defeat with the scoreline of 3-0 that saw Yalveer score twice and Nakul score the lone goal.
In the open category, Daoba FC held Sucha Soorma whereas in the U-16 Category Daoba 1 FC drew Vivek High Soccer Academy with a scoreline of 1-1 as Rebel FC trashed Daoba 2 FC with a scoreline of 5-1 followed by St. Soldier FC’s 2-1 win over Kabir FC.
