Chennaiyin FC are pleased to announce that midfielder Maheson Singh Tongbram has signed a contract extension with the club, continuing his journey with the Marina Machans ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Maheson joined Chennaiyin FC in January 2025 after establishing himself as one of India’s promising young midfielders with Punjab FC. He was part of the Punjab FC side that won the I-League title before making the move to Chennai. Since arriving at the club, the midfielder has continued to impress with his composure on the ball, work rate and versatility in the middle of the park.

“Investing in young players is central to our vision at Chennaiyin FC, and Maheson is someone we have great faith in. He has continued to develop with every opportunity and has demonstrated the attitude and dedication needed to succeed at the highest level. Maheson Singh Tongbram said:

Maheson becomes the latest player to extend his stay with Chennaiyin FC as the club continues to build a strong core for the future ahead of the 2026-27 season.
