I-League side Sreenidi Deccan FC have extended the contract of their Colombian striker David Castañeda Muñoz by two seasons until 2025.
28 year old Medellín-born David Castañeda Muñoz came through the ranks of local side Atlético Nacional, where he also made his senior debut.
He then spend time on loan with Leones FC, Cortuluá, Fortaleza CEIF, and Real Santander before leaving Atlético Nacional to join Boyacá Patriotas.
The 2020/21 season, David Castañeda Muñoz spend with Iraqi side Zakho SC before he moved to India to join Sreenidi Deccan FC in 2021.
Over the last couple of seasons, David Castañeda Muñoz has been a key player for the club, which he also has captained. Last season, David Castañeda Muñoz scored 15 goals in 21 I-League matches.
